How great is it that there are sooooo many super cool resources out there to help us learn, grow and uplevel our business?

There’s an eCourse, printable, workshop, masterclass, membership, challenge, #younameit for every single solution you could ever imagine looking for. 🎯

While it’s great to have so many cool resources at your finger tips, it can also get very overwhelming and really easy to collect too many of them. Because they all sound so dang great!

And all of that clever sales copy can make it feel like this exact thing is the magic pill 🪄 you’ve been looking for to solve all of your problems.

It can get to the point that you just don’t have the time to go through all of that content you’ve collected or execute on their lessons and strategies.

And so you stop acquiring any more resources, because you already have so much to get to. <— you’ll work through all of this stuff first and then get more, right?

I want you to know that you don’t need to get through all of that stuff you’ve already purchased / downloaded / acquired. <— this is keeping you stuck. 😮

I’m guilty myself of collecting hoards of classes, downloads and workbooks in the past – I had even created an intricate digital file folder system to keep them all organized. How many of these hoarded resources have I actually used over the years? Maybe 10% of them. 🤦‍♀️

And I know how hard it is to let go of something you at one point thought you needed. For some reason our brain 🧠 is all like “You got this thing so you need to do it, yo! Otherwise I will make you feel bad about it!”

Here’s a more effective way to go about choosing which resources to go through and/or acquire next: get crystal clear about your vision, your goals, your priorities.

👆 This clarity will make it so much easier to say an intentional “yes” or “no” to the next great resources that come your way.

Instead of looking externally for answers or allowing others to tell you what you should be doing and executing in your business, turn inward. When you know with certainty what your own vision, goals and priorities are, the answers to what you need will become obvious.

I want you to make clear and informed decisions about exactly which resources will meet your specific needs, challenges and knowledge gaps right now.

Don’t waste any more of your valuable time going through stuff that isn’t directly related to your current goals, because it’s not actually going to help you make progress anyway.

Of course you’ll continue to be told that [insert resource] is the-greatest-thing-of-all-time-it-will-change-your-life…but when you’re clear on exactly what you’re working towards and what’s most important to you, you’ll be able to easily pick and choose only those you actually need. 😉
